i just wanted to wish all my friends a very happy new year!

i tried to do a mass e mail but .... a yahoo message says that my empty mail box is full and needs to be emptied! oh well....

i actually got to go out to day the last of the old year for a short time. same outfit just a diff. blouse. first i went for a very late lunch to Micky D's next off to the target store to replace a cd player that i got for my aunt that was defective. of course while i was there i bought a stripe blouse for my "other self to wear". (it turned out to be one size to small so it has to go back so the hunt continues.)
i already bought him a set of woman's reverse fly pants to wear which are at my tailors for alterations including installation of 2 rear pockets. giggle giggle. soon even when in guy mode he'll be wearing woman's clothes he he giggle giggle. i already have him wearing woman's slip on shoes much of the time. giggle giggle 

in the old superstitions it is said that what ever one does on the first of the year they will do the rest of the year this is how the new years party's got started. also the wearing of a new piece of clothing etc. and the receiving of a piece of silver. soooo......
I'm not taking any chances just as i did last year I'll try to find some time tomorrow Jan. 1st to go out dressed as Diana.

in looking back on this year i managed to dress about 1/8th the time or about 50 days this past year including in the summer. i also managed to go to the beach in a maillot bathing suit as well as keep my legs shaved and fingernails with pale pink nail polish much of the time.
i had hoped to dress about 1/4 of the time but that wasn't to be but i did top last year by 1 day this seems to be my average. oh well.... but i also managed to seep in a lovely satin nightgown 99% of the time with only a few exceptions ( when on a family trip with my dad and when i had a 24hr stomach bug ) so all in all i can't complain.

I hope everyone had a nice christmas!

I was such a good girl this year i just knew santa wouldn't forget me. giggle giggle

Anyway i decided to go out and do some shopping and errends today. just the usual stuff ... the postoffice (this was a first. i wanted to show a lady who works there and knows of me my new maron leather skirt.), the farm market, (also a first) and finally i stopped for a bite to eat at micky D's and to say hi to ronald. he agreed to a photo with a nicely dressed lady (me diana giggle giggle)!

yeaaaa i got to go out dressed 2 days in a row!  i wore the same outfit as yesterday accept a different brocade blouse.
today i went to drop off a gift to the lady who styles my hair at the wig shop/beauty supply but..., she was at her other job at cosmetics at lord and Taylor. this was just fine with me as i have wanted to go to this smaller non mall L & T in the neighboring town dressed as Diana. she introduced me to several of her friends who treated me as any other woman customer or friend which felt great!
next onto k-mart to return stuff for my other self and buy a few unmentionables for myself!
and finally onto Rubie Tuesday restaurant for take out since i had to bring dinner home to my dad.
aside from the drizzle and the momentary power outage at k mart it was a great day.

just an additional note here if anyone lives or travels near linden new jersey , Nancy's lingerie shop is wonderful she is very down to earth and helpful and has many toys for sale as well .

well i finally got to get dressed and go out! whew! 
i went to see a gg friend that owns Nancy's lingerie shop and drop off a small Xmas gift. since it was time to close up for the evening we decided to catch a bit to eat and catch up on the news at applebys'.
this was the first time i had really gone to dinner with a gg as Diana(I've gone by myself many times before)! it went very smoothly! no one even batted an eye! just two girlfriends out for dinner!
i got to wear my new maroon leather skirt and white brocade blouse with black boots and my red dress coat. yeaaaa!
a day or two ago i had painted my nails again (first a clear coat then 2 coats of pail pink and finally a clear coat) and in the afternoon my dad and i went shopping in sears (me in drab ) i commented on the nice nail color that the cashier had on and she in turn mentions that she likes my nice neutrals color as well! she didn't even bat an eye or ask why, just as if she was talking to another woman giggle giggle ( i did whisper to her that i was a cd and it works for both self's) she said "so what" giggle giggle
the interesting thing is that from the time i got up this morning my brain was in fem mode even when my outer clothes were male i felt as if i was a female in male clothes. interesting . it really is a wonderful feeling when that happens.
anyway i had hoped to dress at least 5 times per month this year or about an eighth of the time unfortunately the last month or so i didn't get to do that but for most of the year i have accomplished that along with sleeping in my satin nighty's so i guess that's not a bad average.

well i had hopped to dress up for the dignity church meeting and Xmas party accept, we ended up with 2" of icy slush along with the prediction of 50 mph winds. sooo after i shoveled the driveway (to icy and small for the snow blower- not enough for my neighbors plow, just in between) i went back into the warm house.
i had planned to wear my new maroon leather skirt with my black leather boots and pretty brocade blouse and nice red top coat. ohhh well the best laid plans ect...

i went to the Dr. the other day to get my BP med renewed and ended up with a case of "white coat syndrome" the elavatred pulse and BP came back down to normal when i got home 3-4 hours later. he suggested a tiny amount of bata blocker.

he explained as a preformer i probably have a bit of excess adrenalyne wandering around in my system which usually burns off during preformances as a muscian. (i have not activly preformed in about 3 years during the time i helped take care of my mom) but i know the BP problem kicked in arounded this stressfull time as i had stopped playing at that time as well(wind instrumentelists who practice 3-4 hours a day are known to have great lung capacity just no other mussels giggle giggle). makes me kind of wonder if cding has contributed to the problem or helped in burning off some of the adrenline.

this has me soooo bumed out that i don't even feel like dressing as diana. it kind of took the "wind out of my cd sails".

i know there are worse things in the world and i guess i should be happy i have made it to 50 but i've built up to walking a mile a day or more over the last several years and have added lettuce to my diet noon and dinner( i don't like dressing so i don't use any) i don't smoke or drink. geee wiz you'd think that'd count for something....

yeaaaa i finally got time to go out as diana.

i got to wear my mauve sweater with my green plaid skirt with black leather boots along with my long black dress coat since it suddenly got colder here. (the photo above was taken at another time but is the same outfit without the boots but at leat you can see the outfit somehat as discribed) 

first i went to my dignity church meeting then onto Lowe's where i bought a new humidifier filter-pad, next onto barns and nobel to check out some transgendered books (ended up sort of reading one there since cash is short while i await local school checks) next i was off to stop and shop to get milk and finally onto walmart to return some unmentionables - undies (wrong size) since cash is short i didn't stop for dinner plus it was now getting late 10pm sigh....

so i headed for home it was a wounderful 4-5 hours out and i feel lucky to have had the chance to enjoy that amount of time even if it might seem short to some.

of course i still have been sleeping in a satin nighty (although lately i have had to use the pink flanney lined satin nighty with pink undies) it feels so good to wake up in the satin nighty along with my legs being shaved still and toenails and finger nails with pale pink polish and lately i have been sleeping in an older wig i use as a back up. (although it does slide around a bit at night but not allways) it really does feel wounderful to wake up in fem as diana.

Here it is one year to the day that my mom passed on after 3 years of lung ailments. My dad and i really miss her. we took care of her at home through out the 3 years. it was an honor and a privlage to take care of her.

once again i'll do a 2 part entry so i can post both photos from today.

since the weather warmed back up in nj i got chance to take the afternoon off and go back to the beach in diana mode.  i got there a bit late as i stopped in a few blocks before the beach to see a gg friend (she knows diana and is very supportive of her) whom i had dated. it was good because i had a chance to communicate with her again and that made me feel good. 

again i wore my black maillot bathing suit to the beach. since the air was a bit cool and there was a breeze in the late afternoon air i once again needed the wind barrier. the water though was warm and i went in up to my ankles. there was a beautiful sunset which i am sharing with everyone in the first photo.

after i left the beach and changed out of bathing suit and back into my peach "T" shirt and white jeans skirt with peds and sandals since it was so warm and i decided to say hi to the gang at club Paradise with plans of checking out Georgies. someone at Paradise suggested checking out club cruisers around the corner. i found this to be not my kind of place sooo.... onto club Georgies. this turned out to be a good choice! although it's smaller than the photos' i have seen of it it's brighter and nicer than the photos showed. it's really a very nice friendly "GLBT version of cheers" type of place. a very friendly crowd as i ended up talking with a straight gg and her friend at the bar as well as others from the glbt community.
i am cautious in asbury after hours since i have spent over 30 summers in the neighboring ocean grove. but Georgies has parking along the rr tracks which is visible from their security cameras. for all the summers spent there i never knew this place existed accept from the jerseygirls web site.

since i had a 1 hour ride home i left at 10:30pm and went over to Clancy's' for a burger and a baked potato finally heading for home at 12:15 there was very little traffic and i got home by 1:15 so i could go in the door as Diana .


here i am in diana mode at Georgies 5th Ave near the rr tracks in asbury park NJ. again it's really a nice place.

yeaaa ahhh i finally got to get chance to dress as Diana again. 

i had ordered some spare wigs at the beauty supply in case my style gets discontinued. the wig stylist Sandra is back working there but only every other Sunday so i had her style both today. it's interesting of the 2 that i ordered the first fit great immediately but the 2nd needed trimming and styling and really didn't want to cooperate. they both came from the same factory and and are the same model but reacted soooo differently.

i had worn my pink "T" shirt and white jeans skirt and white sandals since it has still been warm here until the last couple days so since it chilled down today i needed panty hose as well.

at the beginning of the summer i didn't think i could get used to dressing with out pantyhose but since i have used peds all summer while keeping my legs shaved now i hated to go back to them. but they did feel wooonderful after i put them on giggle giggle!

from there it was off to stop and shop for a few things. for a sunday there were a lot of people in the store and i noticed out of the corner of my eye that 2 different gg's did a double take. i think since i was dressed in more summer attire on a cooler day. anyway fall dressing in either mode is always hard to get used to in NJ. finally the last stop was in walmart which didn't have anything i needed in stock. of course i checked out the shoes on sale clothing racks while there.

the 3 hours dressed as Diana wasn't long enough. but of course it never is! giggle giggle!

since i was away with my dad attending his 65th hs reunion in pa i don't have any Diana news as i went as my other self (even cut my nails, removed the polish, slept in pj's and wore for the most-part male clothes out of respect for my dad and his classmates). one thing i realized is how few male undies i posses these days.  i ended up using my fem undershirts which look male. I couldn't quickly regrow leg hair but, no one noticed. it was 10 degrees warmer in pa than in NJ, unusual for Oct.
i got to meet a 99 yr old great aunt who can see and hear well but is getting her 1 cataract fixed this month.
so my dad and i had a great time.

i didn't get to dress today because my other self took the 1929 Ford 2dr to a fall festival in the next town of Fanwood along with my dad and aunt. we did have a great time. my ford was the oldest car at the show of about 60 cars showing up through the 1970's. mine is stock but of course there where many street rods and even a group of police cars from n.y. it was a beautiful fall day so we had a great time.

today i finally got to wear my new woman's (reverse fly) shortened tan shorts and white woman's golf shirt and as usual my white satin and lace panties as my other self. (i told him I'd take over his body some day giggle giggle)  this and the fact that i have been making him wear his nails at 3/16" in a pale pink dbl coat with a clear coat and keeping the legs shaved all summer. also as usual i make him wear a pink or blue satin nighty or chemeese with matching satin and lace panties to sleep in . so i get to wake up as diana which feels wounderful!
this helps to start my day out right! giggle giggle.

i didn't get to switch to full Diana mode today as i planned as i ran out of time but, it felt wonderful while working today. (i am self employed and can dress casual) the interesting thing is that no one even noticed. giggle giggle

this is what i love the most about summer is that wearing tennis length shorts feels almost like wearing a short skirt. giggle and i get to show off my legs all summer.

today i decided to treat myself again and took the afternoon off to go to the beach again at the south end of ocean grove.

i arrived late around 6:15 and it was overcast and windy lucky i had brought the wind barrier. for those of you who don't know this is basically a 9' piece of canvas with 4 broom handles every 3' each handle is sharpened on one end to poke into the sand creating a small wall of canvas about 4 and 1/2 feet high blocking the south west winds (warm off the water at this time of year).
after putting my feet in the water and saying hello to the couple with the kite and grandchildren that i met 2 weeks ago i sat down to eat a very late lunch or early dinner of chicken sandwich. since it gets dark early i left the beach at 7:15 to change out of my maillot bathing suit and back into my pink "T" , white jeans skirt and sandals.
i decided to say hi as Diana to a friend from the glbt community in ocean grove. Dave had never seen me as Diana but knew of me as i had told him awhile ago. i have know him over 30 years since he first lived across from me where i summered. he is a very humble person considering he has preformed in many TV commercials over the years.
next it was time to say hi to the gang at the Paradise club i saw at least one familiar face from 2 weeks ago.
at 10pm it was time to find some dinner so it was back to Clancy's' at the gates of ocean grove. although this is a straight bar i was treated with respect, great service and always a great meal. (they have great burgers ) finally at 11:30pm it was time for the 1 hour ride home.

on the way i had to stop at the parkway restroom stop and before arriving home i used my pass card to check my mailbox at the post office finally arriving home about 12:45.

it was a nice day accept it gets dark earlier and the overcast sky with the wind .
